Statement of Purpose

The purpose of this blog is to explore some questions that have been unanswered in my mind. The key question is–what is the purpose of life?
To answer this question, I end up with several other questions:
1. What is life?
2. Is there a purpose to life?
3. Is the purpose set by somebody other than ourselves, e.g. God?
4. What is God?
5. How should one live to obtain the purpose of life?
These questions are interlinked and it is necessary to simultaneously struggle with each of them. So I intend to write and think about these questions in an interlinked manner. This blog is a convenient way for me to store the thoughts and my writings. I do not expect anybody else to read these or comment on them. However, I welcome any inputs or thoughts to facilitate joint exploration of these questions.
hi,
here is the answer to your question:

Thank you, Mukesh. This answer is one espoused by karma theory in Hinduism, and requires you to believe in rebirth, continuation of an account of “give and take.” Over time, I have found the complete undifferentiated nature of consciousness (brahman) and differentiated (loaded with an account of give and take) sense required in karma theory. I much rather believe in a modified “karma theory” where are deep intentions get coded into our DNA and passed from one generation to another. Our consciousness is universal, it does not get tainted by actions done by one body/mind.
